Infinite Brevity is the name of my little corner of the internet. The name is actually an oxymoron. Infinite means limitless, and brevity means “shortness in time.” It’s the little memories we write about for keepsake, and moments within the photos we take, that will last a lifetime. Life is too short to waste on constantly looking toward what the future holds, instead of living presently. I am continually making a conscious effort to appreciate every little moment I come into contact with through the words I write, the pictures I take, and it’s my version of actively pursuing to “stop and smell the roses” in life, if you will.
When I first started this blog, it was all personal. Thoughts I just needed to get out of my head and I didn't really care if anyone was receiving it. My values were off. Over time I came to realize that my heart's desire was to encourage and empower people. This blog has allowed an outlet for me to reach you, to be able to help you and encourage you in your everyday life. There's joy in every day. Start where you are, with what you already have, and see how your life changes when you simply switch your point of view.
Hello! My name is Kenzie, I am 20 years old, born and raised in Columbus, OH. I live my life seeing the beauty in my surroundings rather than surrounding myself with beautiful things. I am a firm believer that perspective can change your life and I’m determined to prove it by sharing my thoughts with you through the posts I carefully compose and the photos I snap and share.
What do we have in common?
Taking photos of people, places, and moments.
Spending abnormal amounts of quality time with my 2 dogs.
Sushi of all kinds.
Filling my residing space with hydrangeas, succulents, and sunflowers to which I will then unintentionally brutally murder via dehydration.
Listening to alternative and indie music, or any kind of music (except country or metal…or country-metal. Is that a thing? God I hope not).
Writing music, playing music, frequently attending concerts and pretty much anything that has to do with music, I’m your girl.
Hitting up local coffee shops.
Listening to people play the saxophone. Ugh. Just yes.
Candles that smell good enough to eat (but not actually eating them that’s weird).
Watching John Hughes and Quentin Tarantino movies.
