Monday Motivation // Keep Your Eyes on the WHYS

In the past, everyone thought everything had already been thought of - everything had been created and there was absolutely no more room for growth. Light bulbs? What are those? Pre-packaged, chopped salad kits? They have those? Computers? Unheard of. Digital cameras? Heck to the no. After a while, people decided to prove the closed-minded wrong by rolling with their out-of-the-box solutions and ideas to boost life’s convenience level. People were inventing things you didn’t know you needed until they were given to you.

Now we live in a world with a lull, and new inventions are getting...interesting. Technology is at it’s peak, influencers are all around, and it’s so easy to start feeling discouraged. Everyone is influencing and creating and striving to be great. It’s all a competition, and the race is getting closer with each passing moment. Basic things like bottled water and universal remotes have already been thought of and invented. What else do we need? The competition is tight because as soon as you finally think of a brand new “thing,” someone already has it patented and you’re back to square one. But we have to keep our eyes on the “whys.” Why do we invent? Why do we continue to create? In the past, everything seemed to have been invented, but they still had to travel by horse and use lanterns to light their homes at night. See where I’m going with this?

Just because people can't see past what has already been created, does not mean there isn’t more to be made. Don’t get discouraged by a selfish world who only wants you to fail. You have a good idea? ROLL WITH IT! Trial and error is the key to success, you have to fail in order to learn and in order to learn, you have to pick yourself back up and try again. You are capable of changing the world, influencing people, and discovering new and great things to make life better. Don’t ever give up on yourself, you can do anything you want if you believe in it.
