Best Of Makeup Products // Concealer

First off, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delay in posting this blog. Life gets in the way sometimes, but here it is folks. Looks like we're going to double up on this series' posts today! Concealer is magical. I really think so. Have a pimple? Have some nasty eyelid veins? Have discoloration and bags around your eyes? Concealer can make you look like a new, healthy woman. I'm not saying don't take care of your skin because makeup exists. Skincare is important, however, if you've fallen behind or your skin decides it's going to rebelliously do it's own thing, concealer is always to the rescue. Here are my top 4 favorite concealers.

  • Tarte Shape Tape Concealer | This concealer is hands down my favorite one of all time, and many others would tell you the same thing. It's a bit more pricey than the rest of the concealers listed, but I would never recommend a product that wasn't worth the money. This concealer is high coverage, and doesn't show it. It never looks cakey, doesn't show my dry skin, and lasts all day. Shape tape concealer has such a natural finish and blends super well.
    • Price | $27.00
  • Colourpop No Filter Concealer | I don't think you can purchase this concealer anywhere except for the colourpop site [however I could be wrong about this], but it is 100% worth the wait for it to be shipped to you. The price is super low, but the concealer is THE BEST. The color selection is amazing too, they have colors for all skin tones and to me, that's amazing. It's not as high coverage as the tarte shape tape, but it's perfect for everyday wear and blends like a dream. Seriously. You need this concealer.
    • Price | $6.00
  • Maybelline Fit Me Concealer | If you're not sure about purchasing a concealer from a site you've never heard of (aka the colourpop concealer), then head over to your local drugstore. This concealer was the first one I ever fell in love with. My safety net, if you will. I have always loved this concealer, especially when I was first experimenting with makeup. It gets the job done, it's not too thick, perfect for everyday wear, and the price is not too shabby either.
    • Price | $6.99
  • Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer | If you're like "listen Kenzie these all sound great and stuff, but I just need a cheap concealer that works." Look no further. This concealer is AMAZING. Definitely one of my top faves [obviously it is otherwise it wouldn't be on this list]. The only complaint I have about this concealer is the color selection. The only colors I have seen are 3 light shades, which is fine for us pale gals, but really doesn't help anyone else out. That's why I recommend the colourpop concealer over this one, however, if you find your shade, I highly recommend this one as well.
