Blogmas 2018 | Day 10 | Bath and Body Works Candle Haul (Favorite Christmas Candles)
If you’ve ever had a single conversation with me about my personal life, you’d know that I love candles. I have an unhealthy relationship with candles and things that just smell really, really good and let’s just leave it at that.
The perfect scent to bring a hint of the holidays home with you. A beautifully fresh candle scent that’s just the right amount of peppermint and a SMIDGEN of vanilla.
This one is my favorite out of the entire bunch. It smells like you literally just went and chopped down a tree and freshly put it into your home, and then it slapped you in the face a little just so you remember it’s there, but like, in a good way. Highly recommend this one to my people out there who are sensitive to vanilla (like my mom) and floral (like myself), this one doesn’t bother me and I’m pretty sure won’t bother her. It strictly smells like nature and it’s amazing.
DELICIOUS. If you don’t like candles that smell really sugary, then I wouldn’t recommend this to you. BUT, If you like your candles to smell like grandma is baking some scrumptious s’more cookies in the oven while also brewing peppermint tea and making you eat a candy cane, you’ve found yourself candle match. Congratulations.
This one smells exactly what it sounds like it would smell like. Have you ever wondered what the winter season as a whole smells like? It’s this candle. I love this candle because my Nan used to burn it, before she moved, around this time of year when my family would gather together for the holidays. Smells good? Check. Sentimental value? Check. Perfect blend of home, sweet, and spice scents? Check, check, and check.
Another amazing fresh scent! This one brings a very cozy, homey atmosphere into the room while also making it smell fresh and holiday-esque. A beautifully meshed combination of fruity and homey. This one is great as a “kitchen candle.”
Campsie AND coffee?? I’ll take twenty. I loved the Marshmallow Fireside candle from Bath and Body Works, so when I saw coffee combined with similar scents, I HAD to grab this one too. Usually I stay away from coffee (and chocolate) “scents” because they typically smell extremely fake and it’s never the same. I decided to give this one a go and I’m SO glad I did. It’s delicious smelling (with vanilla scents). Seriously smells like you are brewing coffee over a campfire.
Speaking of this candle…I have like 3 of them. It’s pretty self-explanatory but it needed to be on this list because I can’t get enough of it. It doesn’t have an overpowering scent of vanilla or marshmallow, but it definitely has that cozy, warm fireside feel they were going for. Also, look how cute the packaging is.
Would it even surprise you if I told you this wasn’t the entirety of my candle collection? These are just my winter and fall candles. Heh *nervous laughter*
