I was born November 22, 1998. In no way, shape, or form, do I know all that I need to know about life. I'm only 18. I have a lot to learn, a lot to see, and a lot to experience. I just felt like I should share some things I have learned in these 18 years of life, that might be beneficial to you.
It's fine if you don't agree. Not everyone will, but with my own personal life experiences, these are just a few things I've learned. Hope you enjoy.
1. It's not okay to be a people pleaser, don't let people walk all over you.
2. You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.
3. Don't fall in love with being in love.
4. Homework, work, and responsibilities are important. But it's also important to put your mental health first.
5. Losing friends is a part of growing up.
6. Do not let bitterness and holding grudges ruin your life. Kill people with kindness and forgive.
7. Give your all with everything you do.
8. It's okay to say no.
9. Never think you are less than a son or daughter of the Most High King.
10. Cherish those times you have with your friends in grade school, make memories that will last. You never know when the good times will end or when you'll see them again.
11. Don't be afraid to meet new people, it's usually never as bad as you play it out in your head.
12. Do what makes you happy.
13. Don't succumb to negative thoughts, anxiety, or depression. Those can ruin your life, your friendships, and your career.
14. Don't be afraid to ask for help. There's a difference between independence and ignorance.
15. Work with your mistakes, don't beat yourself up about them.
16. Always choose family over career. Happiness over money.
17. Set a goal for yourself to try something new. Everyday, every year, or every month.
18. Just because you're 18, doesn't mean you can stop listening to your parents.
Don't get a big head.
happy birthday to me
